Keep it layered is my mantra. I simply can’t deal with bulky clothes, and I like to let my curves show. I start with a skinny top in fleece of the softest kind, top that with a fitted sweater or gilet, and then pull on a shrug or short jacket over that for the windy outdoors. Wide tartan skirts and high boots beat the cold and seal in snugness, as do baby cords or moleskin pants. Try two layers of sheer stockings and cosy up without sacrificing style to bulky socks. When you sport the skinniest of skinny jeans and a lean silhouette is when you can add depth to your look by adding vibrant leg-warmers… funky, warm and fun to carry off too.

Keep style as a starting point, comfort as the key, and you simply can’t go wrong with winter dressing this season.
