    I absolutely love your website, the way it has been designed and the products it carries. My only grudge is in these days of service being the most important to hold and retain customers and bring them back for more, your website is charging some 75 odd Rs as delivery charges and another 75 for COD. It has been a while that the COD facility is being provided for FREE from many-a-lot online retailers, and I believe that is the correct approach.

    A personal example. I was looking around for the Issey Miyake mens perfume and I landed on your website. Signed up, received the 500 Rs credit (nice incentive), logged in, browsed for the product, added it to the cart, assumed you will have COD services, and right when I was about to checkout, I looked at the price – 75 as delivery charges and another 75 for COD. An icing to the cake was you would only let me use 250 Rs from the 500 Rs credit that you gave me to use in the the first place.

    All too disappointed I just clicked the red X button on the top right of the screen.

    You see, here’s the thing. I bought the perfume from another website that provided free COD. The cost price really didn’t matter, and to tell you it was not a whole lot less than what was offered on your website. Neither did the service or the delivery times. What mattered was the little thing that bothered me while making a purchase on your website – the additional charges for delivery and COD.

    Fix that, and you will automatically pull in more customers like me, without a doubt.

      Chances of COD refusals are quite high in comparison to prepaid which is cost for us,there are always chances to save money in Prepaid services.

    Hi,

    I have a long pending concern with regards to dispatch of orders from 99labels, i am Club99 member & my purchase value from November 2011 to till date is approximately 45,000 Rs.In the past 2-3 months, i have been facing an issue for which i had contacted customer support over phone/email/online chat more than 15-20 times, it . I had to talk over phone , that too ISD for more than 2 – 3 hours for the same issue on multiple occasion, but to my disappointment, the issue still remains unsolved. I have contacted on all known email ids, contact numbers, but no one is able to solve this issue.
    ISSUE : Every time i make an order, the recipient name is wrongly mentioned on the consignment and then sent. To be more specific, they are sent on name of a man instead of a girl to a Ladies Hostel. I am pretty sure that the issue is with the software being used on backend. Who will be able to rectify the same & when ??
    All promises made on rectifying the same has gone unfulfilled. Even now, i have 2 orders pending to be dispatched , nos. 99341346 & 99345912 .

    Would this concern be ever cleared, i have tried to contact & bring to the notice of highest possible level , as the customer support is not able to rectify it.

    Expecting a call / email from somebody who would be concerned enough to solve this issue.

    I would agree with Roshan above. I too have shopped on your website, and i guess i look at the products everyday….I even recommend it to my friends.
    But a lot of times, what discourages me from making a purchase is the delivery charges.
    I agree that the service vendors might charge you, but the cost does seem high for only delivery. Other sites which do charge for delivery, charge Rs.30 at the max.

    The point is that, we can pay the Rs.75, but our thought is, why should we, when other sites are not charging it?
    Just the other day I didn’t buy some Neutrogena products because I was put off by the extra charges.
    And if I’m buying something like which costs say Rs. 1000, then i might not even think about adding 75 bucks, but if I’m buying something worth 200-300, then it’s like almost 25-30 percent of my bill, which is too much!
    In this age of competition, and the growth of e-retailers, I think it’s in your benefit to change the policies to attract more customers. Because there are other sites which do not charge for delivery above Rs.500, or offer similar other discounts.
    Surely you can follow the lead of others, otherwise customers will start turning away to better options. After all, nowadays, it’s a consumer’s market.

    My repeated complaints about wrong deliveries, incomplete deliveries, refund issues on this blog space, seem to fall on deaf ears. Invariably, I observe that I am the one who is initiating mail and following up. I havent experienced any initiative or an intention to keep commitments. At this moment, I am struggling with a case of refund, for a wrong delivery. I have mails from your team about amount being credited to my account – but it has not happened. I am sure there are lessons all of you can learn from flipkart. I am also waiting for a partly delivered order. Once that is done, it is a big goodbye to buying from your site. I am a very unhappy customer. And i notice that I am not the only one.

  7. Hi Ishita,
    I have been shopping with 99labels for some time now. It is not that issues are not addressed- it is that it takes ages for it to be addressed. I had suggested some time ago that when there is a problem, only ONE person there should deal with it, since it otherwise has to be repeated and explained over and over again to ten different people who are handling the e mail complaints.

    I would also like to know if 99 labels is a site where companies get rid of their old products which are not selling in their shops since I have had kurtas that rip easily. The same happened with a pair of jeans after just one wear.

    You may offer the service of return of the product and pick up, but last time I waited for more than 15 days and then sent back the product myself. I got no acknowledgement of receipt for a long time, inspite of sending any number of mails. Yebhi.com is so prompt in this matter. Another company sends in their parcel a return plastic packet, so that you can return it easily.

    Please look into these issues. I always make it a point to write a feedback about the product after I receive it so that the company can stay away from those products who make tall claims but have inferior products. I never receive any acknowledgement of those either.

    I have been shopping with 99 lables since a while and unfortunately, can see the quality of products and customer support going down. This is specifically with reagrd to my order no 99351012. Received a faulty prodcut, after waiting in vain for a reverse pick up for 3 weeks had to ship it back at my own expense and now am sitting with my fingers crossed to receive my refund – of the product and the shipping cost. Of course, the promised date for refund has already, gone by and now my phone calls & emails are going unanswered!! PLEASE HELP THIS ONE LAST TIME. And i promise i will never shop on your site again.

    I was promised a coupon of Rs.500 when I registered in the month of July that has not yet been given to me as promised.

    Additionally, I had made a shopping of more than 9999 in the month of July 2012. So, I have already mailed multiple timed for activating my Club99 membership that has yet not been activated. Along with, the cancellation of the shipping charges that I was eligible for mu Club99 membership.

    I am seriously disappointed with the customer support at 99labels. They say we’ll get back to you shortly, and they never do. I don’t understand who is the correct person for communication, and how how can things be made happen. All the e-commerce sites have far better customer support. If this remains the case, I doubt I’ll ever shop from you again, no matter whatever you guys promise.
