It’s so true, we all goof up sometimes, but the most fun to be had is when the glitterati does it! That’s when we can rock back on our collective heels and say–hey, I’m not the only one who messed up, and at least when I did, it wasn’t in full frontal public view! Great fun to see those snooty smug looks crumble to dust as the trendsetters and newsmakers fumble in their style lexicon to hilarious effect!
Caught some very stylish ladies at their best worst, Anushka Sharma obviously thought that a flat tummy was enough to wear a mis-matched fashion fusion-confusion outfit, I’m so not surprised at the reaction that look evoked, or should I say, eeek-voked!
Rakhi Sawant, that bizarre and unreal gift to humanity also showed up fully and unquestionably in character, don’t yet know quite which character but a loud and in-your-face one for sure. That lady gives a new name to ‘outrageous outfit’, perhaps ‘outrageously unfit’ would be a more appropriate tag!! Just check out her reveal-all look, if you dare!
And it’s not like the pretty Deepika had any points to score on this particular evening either, what was she thinking as she stepped out in public view in this scream of an outfit?Maybe she was planning her next hit film strategy, God knows she could use one!
And then there’s Vidya, ahh Vidya! Always material for a good laugh, our desi lass takes overdressing to its limit–and then some! Caught her sporting a fashion disaster yet again, and seeming so totally comfortable in it, judging by her beatific smile…when will you realize, my girl, that a fancy designer label just isn’t enough, you’ve got to cultivate the panache to go with it!! But news is that she’s sacked her current crop of stylists and is looking for the one who will make her shine–watch this space for more on this development!
Stay close and connected and I’m going to let you know about the greatest and the latest happenings and trends about town. Got a question for me? Let me hear it!
Cheers,
Nina

drape, style and form. They’re delightfully hard to classify, are they Western? Perhaps. Indo-western? Maybe. Defiant? Definitely. As the design genius says, “With all the social changes taking place, the Indian contemporary woman is learning to appreciate the simplicity, and the ease with which my garments are worn. It is a time of change and new attitudes in our country, and I am excited to be here at the forefront.”
