Hi All! Stepped over to Bollyland this last weekend and came away suitably impressed and star dazzled, those people really know how to have fun! Went to a private party on Vijay M.’s yacht, now that’s kingsize good living at its peak! Luckily for me I was totally prepared for the two-day treat with my cool linen whites, I looked like one of those platinum jewelry ads I’ll tell you that!! He’s the perfect host and makes each guest feel like they’re the only one that matters, now isn’t that what good hosting is all about? The weekend was all about miles of smiles, blue seas, indulgent conversations and luscious treats like champagne-dipped strawberries and moments to remember…

Caught the Mumbai fashionistas at their preening best, if one was in Armani cruise wear, the other was working her DKNY bikini collection to advantage, those were catalogue-worthy bods out there I’ll tell you! Also worth a dekko were the guys! Now there was a time, I’m told, when men were all about simple stuff, a tee thrown over jeans or shorts were their attire of choice…but no more my dears, no more! The new breed is as brand-savvy as they come, be it the Tag Heuer watches on their wrists or the Oakleys that shade their precious peepers, they know what’s scorchingly covetable and they’re going for it quick!

Sort of makes it easier to get them gifts though, I mean a girl’s got to reciprocate after a series of lovely candle-lit dinners and heart-warming prezzies, and now I know just what to get a guy without racking my brains too much. It could be as simple as a lovely Italian silk tie or as complex as a day at a spa, the boys have grown up and their tastes have too!

Me, I’m heading to the salon for a day of supremely sinful luxuriating, and ‘sinfully delicious’ is the phrase that you would use when you see me step out of those chrome and glass doors at the end of my appointment! I brag not, just telling it like it is!
